I want to visit Laoag. It has now a growing list of attraction including the Hollywood Style signage.
WOW! It's amazing and kinda funny when you look at it. I never thought that some places here in Philippines has something like this.
i feel you kuya! i like seeing those huge blocks of letters of a place especially if it's my first time going there. kahit nga lang yung mga nasa daan lang na "welcome to ________" , nasisiyahan na ako. haha. :)
continue traveling! :)
I've never been to Laoag but I would like to visit the place in the near future.

this "style" is becoming a craze among lgus. crazy! i just dont like the idea. laoag is laoag even without that sign. haiz
haven't seen this when I went there 2 years ago..
I don't really this idea of a signage..
The huge arc is better because is what's common in our country.
But I feel yah!
Entering a location, you have to feel that you are welcome.
ganda talaga ng pinas.. miss our mountains!
I never knew that had that too. I suppose those were newly installed right?
I need to go upnorth pretty soon and stay there for a month probably not just to take pictures but to truly enjoy what the north can provide. ^_^

Why do they have to copy the Hollywood sign? Kainis!
