Stories of town explorations.
"Seeing the breathtaking view of the mountains and the beauty of nature, savoring the quietness and serenity of the place surely brought us peace, happiness and a feeling of more closeness and intimacy."

Even the residents themselves find it weird to see that the little town of Jasper in the province of Alberta in Canada with a little population of about 5,000 is the recipient of 20 million tourists annually.

For most people, Jasper is a place to go when you are seeking for adventure, excitement and fun in the province of Alberta, Canada. It offers adventures and activities every tourist and traveler will surely enjoy.

Jasper is the commercial hub of the Jasper National Park, the largest national park at the Canadian Rockies. Activities that you can try are hiking, trekking, rafting, helicopter ride, skiing and many more!

All year round, and most especially summer time, this serene small town is filled with tourists up to a number of 20 million annually (according to one local we spoke with).

She said that it is kind of weird to see millions of tourists in their place with only a population of about 5 thousand. Anyways, on Easter, we decided to go to Jasper not just for fun but more for reflection (few tourists come around this time).

We rented a cute little cabin and we just spent quality time together. Seeing the breathtaking view of the mountains and the beauty of nature, savoring the quietness and serenity of the place surely brought us peace, happiness and a feeling of more closeness and intimacy!

Jasper is 362 kilometers west of Edmonton, Alberta, the capital city of the province. Jasper can be reached from Edmonton via long drive, train or bus.
