I love going (but not limited) to uninhabited places, unexplored towns, remote communities that require you to trek, forests, ignored ancestral houses and moist cool places with a lot of moss and ferns with natural springs. I love seeing a place full of green stuff such as rice fields, mountains and again, forests. However, although I might appear like an outgoing, careless and adventurous guy, I honestly love chilling in posh hotels and resorts too. I also need relaxation.
Ilocos is my specialty. My ultimate goal is to travel as many towns in the Philippines as I could comprising the 81 provinces. I am addicted to land travel and long bus rides. That's the reason why I love long trips. My patience has a wide range. My longest land trip took me 4 days non-stop (the time I got stranded included) and I enjoyed it. That was Vigan to Davao City on a bus with ferry transfers in between islands.
I love town-hopping, I usually do it with a motorbike and I believe that the small and less visited towns are the best destinations to go: pure, non-commercialized, genuine, unscripted, unhurried. In short, I want pure experiences and new discoveries.
I am a nurse by profession, I do writing jobs sometimes. I travel because it is my heart's desire and lately, I am embracing the idea of solo backpacking using motorbike. I don't drive a car because I don't know how to drive a car. I don't drive manual motorbikes because I find it risky and difficult. I only use an automatic motorbike scooter-type that can make rounds in many provinces!
