"To add to the European touch, I was able to see a river streaming by the road heading towards the sea. It feels like it was a post-winter season and spring is on it's way!"

Narvacan is a town in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. A summer of 2010, my scooter brought me in this part of Narvacan. I just can't believe that what I saw is in the Philippines. It feels like I was in New Zealand or somewhere in Scotland, in Europe. I was really amazed by the beautiful scenery seeing those flowers freely blooming under the sun along the road in yellow blossoms.

Breathe-taking landscape in town

Take note, the flowers freely blooming in here aren't planned for an artificial landscape. It was really a natural landscape!

Along the way, there are rolling hills and mountains in tropical mode. It is really a blend of the temperate and the tropical scenery. This was really unusual!

To add to the European touch, I was able to see a river streaming by the road heading towards the sea. It feels like it was a post-winter season and spring is on it's way! I just love the mountains blending with the natural landscape.

On our way to discovering new places, there are also grazing fields for animals that made me feel I was in New Zealand. Have you ever seen in pictures a photo of New Zealand where cattle, sheep and other domesticated animals graze in a wide green field with rolling hills? Try to search in Google to see what I am referring to.

The Yellow Blossoms!

There you are! Can you see this thick yellow flowers freely blooming into a timely fashion? Yes, this view is what you will see here, a wide field all covered with these beautiful flowers. This was really unusual in the Philippines. Other places in the Philippines might have such but I think it is not that common and I'm glad Narvacan has it.

That day, I just found another discovery! A secret place I just have revealed! While heading our way back home, we stopped over Bolanos Beach along the stretch of Sulvec Bay and the beautiful sunset was a bonus!

Narvacan really has some hidden secrets waiting to be revealed. Anyway, I told you, everything in here are all  my secrets. I won't reveal the exact place where I saw this. Haha. HINT: At the Police Outpost, take the Sulvec Port Road until you reach the beach! That's it! Enjoy your discovery too and let those secrets be revealed!
